Taylor has been a receptionist here at Kaibab Animal Hospital since May of 2018.
She was born in southern Minnesota and spent her childhood back and forth between
Minnesota and Tennessee. She moved to Arizona 6 years ago and shortly thereafter she met
her fiancé, Jeremiah.
Taylor started college in Minnesota in an Associates of Science program. When she moved to
Arizona she transferred to Arizona State University. Her major at ASU was Biological
Sciences with a concentration in Animal Physiology, Behavior, and Neuroscience. Taylor
spent 6 years in college although she left ASU before graduating to pursue career goals.
Her start in the veterinary industry was in Minnesota at a two-doctor practice that mainly
worked with dogs, cats, and livestock. She took a break from the veterinary field for many
years following this to work with exotics. Working as a zookeeper she worked with a
plethora of animals including hoof stock, primates, big cats, birds, and small mammals.
There came a point in her career that Taylor decided she wanted more hands-on medical
experience. She transitioned into a veterinary technician position at a large 10 doctor
practice that saw dogs, cats, and small exotics. After gaining basic technical skills Taylor
decided that she wanted to work closer with the clientele. This brought her to her current
role a s a receptionist.
Taylor's favorite part of her job is working so closely with our clients. She enjoys helping people
and pets both and finds it rewarding to be able to assist pet parents with questions or
concerns they might have.
Taylor has four dogs—Lady, Freya, Lilah, and Nova. Lady, her English Springer Spaniel,
has been in her family for 13 years. She spends her days relaxing in the lap of luxury in
her golden years. Freya is a one year old French Bulldog. She is the spitfire of the
bunch and can usually be found trying to wake the other dogs up for playtime. Lilah and
Nova are both English Bulldogs. They were born one week apart and are
approximately six months old. They are the laziest puppies and can occasionally be
found behind the front desk ready to greet the clientele.
Taylor strives to provide the best possible customer service to our clients. Her goal is to always
go above and beyond what is expected by our clients to make their experience positive.
Taylor's personal interests include: spending time with her fiancé and their four dogs, traveling
and sightseeing, and working on design elements for their new home that is in the
process of being built.
